Gympanzees is an award-winning charity and our vision is that every disabled child and young person in the UK has access to play, friendship and exercise. Whilst we are unable to run our Pop Up events, we wanted to bring a bit of Gympanzees inclusive fun into people’s homes and help families play and exercise.

From exercise videos, activities, ideas, Zoom sessions with a qualified therapist and even borrowing specialist play and exercise equipment – we’re here to help them.

Our focus is with a therapeutic twist so that children receive health and well being benefits – all while having a great time.

Suitable for all disabilities and abilities.

Our support can be accessed through our website and our Facebook page.

Inclusion statement

The online hub element of Our Home contains resources that can be adapted for all abilities and disabilities including exercise, messy play, strength and stability. We have split our resources in to six categories that cater for all disabilities.

We normally support families through the provision of Pop Up activity facilities, held at a fully accessible venue, consisting of a specialised gym, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, soft play, active and calm sensory rooms, music room, trampolines, therapy suites and a social café. Our team of trained therapists and disability staff work with families to use specialist equipment designed to increase activity and provide a varied sensory experience, ensuring visitors are improving their health while enjoying themselves.
