Boro is the practice of using a simple running stitch to reinforce a textile item using scraps of fabric. It is a practice that grew out of necessity in medieval Japan and has evolved into a distinctively gorgeous textile artform. Explore this technique and create something new from old unloved fabrics.

* Places are fully subsidised and priority given for learners aged 19 and over who are below a full level 2 in their education (5 GCSEs or less) and are looking to improve their confidence. If you are interested in one of these courses but do not meet the criteria, a £30.00 contribution is required.
