Our Guidelines – please read these and follow them

You’re Welcome Gloucestershire is an inclusive online community for disabled and non-disabled people who live in or near to Gloucestershire or are visiting the area. It is also for organisations and individuals who run clubs, activities or venues and want to be inclusive of disabled people.

Our Guidelines are here to help keep everyone safe and to make sure our online community is a fun and friendly place to be.

Be Respectful – we all have different opinions and ideas. Posts or comments which are hurtful, abusive or dangerous will NOT be tolerated.

Be Kind – lots of different people use this site and may have different levels of communication and understanding when using written language.

Be Supportive – if you can help someone by answering a question or giving more information then please do, this is how we can build an inclusive community.

Be Safe – Staying safe online means making sure you do not give out personal details or arrange to meet people you do not know without a trusted friend or supporter for company.

Be Yourself – We’re all unique and that is what is so amazing about us all. Tell us about your interests and experiences (without sharing personal details that might put you at risk) and help others learn more about inclusive opportunities you have enjoyed in Gloucestershire.

We have an Acceptable Use Policy which explains in more detail about what is and is not acceptable. Anyone who does not follow the policy may receive a warning or be removed from the website.
