Boccia is a sport of intriguing tactics, incredible skill & nail-biting tension! Once you see or play it, you will be hooked!
Boccia is now a Paralympic sport - is a target ball sport which tests both muscle control & accuracy. From a seated position, players propel balls to land as close as possible to a white marker ball, known as "The Jack". Two sides compete as individuals, pairs or as a team of three, over a set number of ends (4 for individuals & pairs, and 6 for teams).
Available to all: young, old, wheelchair user or not, regardless of ability EVERYONE welcome!
Come & join Archie Eaton (medal winning Boccia Champion) at The Chamwell Centre on Saturday afternoons from 14:00-15:00 for the Boccia Club to learn new skills & make new friends.
