The theme of this Refugee Week is ‘Healing’, celebrating community, mutual care, and the human ability to start again. The Refugee Week organisers say that ‘we have much to learn from refugees about holding onto hope when going on seems impossible – as well as about how art, creativity and community can help us to heal.’ That’s why we’re inviting people seeking asylum and everyone in Cheltenham to an afternoon of mindful and restorative activities.
Drop in anytime – stay as long as you like.
Many thanks to Kathryn Buxton (www.spacious-mind.co.uk), OrangeYoga (https://www.orangeyoga.co.uk) and Megan Hastings (https://eye4detail.org/).
This is a free event.
It is accessible to wheelchair users. There will be chairs to sit.
